What exactly does De Eendracht fabriek voor metaalbewerking B.V. do?
We specialize in custom metal fabrication, CNC machining and more for business customers in various sectors.
Where is your factory located and from which region are you operating?
Our factory is located in Rotterdam South, the Netherlands.
What is the country of origin of your products?
Our products are made in The Netherlands. Roughly 99% of the products we deliver are actually produced in our own factory.
What is the average response time for a quote request?
We strive to respond to your request within 1 working day. This depends on the complexity and scope of the request.
What information is needed to become a customer?
The generally used data such as: company name, contact person, KvK number, address, (post, visiting and delivery address). Phone number for direct contact. Bank account number, VAT number. Email address for the invoice.
Can I have my order delivered to my location?
Yes, we can deliver it for you or have it delivered by a courier service. The cost depends on the method of transport, the weight and the destination.
What transportation options do you offer?
We work with reliable transport partners for road transport (trucks), sea freight and air freight.
Can I arrange my own transport provider myself?
Yes, you can arrange your own carrier. We will prepare the order in suitable packaging and load it into the carrier's vehicle.
Which Incoterms do you use for deliveries?
As standard, we deliver EXW (Ex Works) Rotterdam. Other Incoterms are possible in consultation, but usually involve higher costs.
Can you also provide full customisation?
Yes, we offer custom metal machining. Please contact us with your specifications and we will provide a quote.
How does De Eendracht ensure quality control?
Every order undergoes a strict quality control process. We work with average tolerances of H7. If there is nothing specified, we roughly use ±0.2 mm, of course depending on the product.
What is the smallest project you have ever done?
Our smallest project involved a product with Ø2 with g6 threads. The smallest drilled hole is Ø0.17mm. That’s not a big deal.
What are your general payment terms?
Our payment terms are 30 days after the invoice date. New customers pay in advance.
How do I receive my invoice after completing the order?
Invoices are sent digitally to the specified email address.
How can I easily request a quote?
You can request a quote via the contact form or the general email address. Be sure to include the specifications and any drawings.
Can I visit your factory by appointment?
Yes, you are welcome to come for a tour or consultation by appointment.
Do you also offer installation or assembly on-site?
We do not offer on-site assembly or installation.
The products are only delivered from the factory in Rotterdam. .
Does De Eendracht also work for private individuals?
No, we only work for business customers.
Are you officially certified as a metalworking company?
Yes, we are ISO 9001 certified.
What is the average delivery time for a production order?
The average delivery time is 6 working weeks, but this depends on the complexity and size of the order. After receiving your quote request or order, you will receive a realistic schedule.
What are the general terms of delivery at your company?
We apply the current Metal Union conditions.
What are the possible delivery locations within the Netherlands and beyond?
We mainly deliver in the Benelux and Europe, but also outside of these countries.
What are the costs for delivering parts and products?
That depends on the method of transport, the weight and the destination, and fuel prices. Roughly speaking, a box costs €20,-, a slightly heavier package shipment costs €40, and delivering a pallet costs roughly €70,-.
Can I have the transport of my order insured?
By default, shipments are insured based on weight. This is usually not proportional to the value of the shipment. Additional insurance is possible; usually this is a few percent of the financial value. If you are interested, we can offer this for you.
Do I have to pay VAT if I order from outside the EU?
Yes, for all deliveries outside the EU we always send a VAT invoice with the applicable VAT rate. You can then request a refund from us.
Are there any additional costs associated with international deliveries?
Yes, depending on the destination, there may be additional costs for customs, import duties, and transport insurance. We will be happy to inform you about this.
What materials do you work with in metalworking?
We work with stainless steel (various types), Duplex, steel (various types), aluminum (various types), plastics (various types), brass (various types), bronze (various types), Monel, Hastelloy, pure stainless steel, Vespel, titanium and other specialized materials.
Can you also process urgent orders?
Yes, a delivery time of an hour or a day is possible, provided it is reasonable. Rush orders are usually more expensive. We cannot break iron with our hands.
Do you also work on larger production series?
We work in single pieces up to medium series of 100-300 pieces. Depending on the product, this can also involve thousands of pieces.
Which payment methods do you accept exactly?
We accept bank transfer.
Does De Eendracht operate in a sustainable way?
Yes, we strive for sustainable production processes, among other things through the recycling of materials and raw materials.
What if I have a complaint about a delivery?
Please contact our customer service immediately. We will resolve complaints as quickly as possible.
How do you handle confidential drawings or designs?
We treat all customer drawings and information confidentially. We will never share them with third parties who could benefit from it. Conversely, if you bring us a product that we have already created for an existing customer, we will not simply help you.
